WHY WON’T OUR GOVERNMENT ACT ON THIS ?

Posted by straight shooter on February 5, 2008 under Immigration, Political, Social Concerns

What if 20 Million Illegal Aliens Vacated America … remember this is not about racism – it is about breaking the law and the consequences of the law not being enforced. If you want to come to America then do it the RIGHT WAY !

Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, ‘Mexican Visitor’s Lament’ — 10/25/07.

She interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, ‘They (illegal aliens) pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes…What Happens to your country’s economy if 20 million people go away?’ That’s a good question – it deserves an answer. Over 80% of Americans demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America? These answers may surprise you!

In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupt hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominant language again.

In Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grand-kids – would move back ‘home’, mostly to Mexico. That would save Coloradans an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 billion) annually in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67% drop-out/flunk-out rate because of thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado.

Denver’s four% unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.

In Florida, 1.5 million illegals would return the Sunshine State back to America, the rule of law, and English.

In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free living experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned ‘home’ …

If 20 million illegal aliens returned ‘home’, the U.S. Economy would return to the rule of law Employers would hire legal American citizens at a living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn’t be working off the books. That would result in an additional $401 Billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local, state and city coffers.

No more push ‘1’ for Spanish or ‘2’ for English. No more confusion in American schools that now must contend with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country.

In cities like LA., 20,000 members of the ’18th Street Gang’ would vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!

Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by illegal aliens!

America’s economy is drained. Taxpayers are harmed. Employers get rich. Over $80 billion annually wouldn’t return to the aliens’ home countries by cash transfers. Illegal migrants earned half that money untaxed, which further drains America’s economy – which currently suffers an $8.7 trillion debt.

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupt out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act.

Americans wouldn’t suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

Our cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and grid locking our cities. It would also put the ‘progressives’ on the horns of a dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11% of our greenhouse gases.

We should invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a better life in Mexico. We already invite a million people into our country legally more than all other countries combined annually. We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation. It’s time to stand up for our country, our culture, our civilization and our way of life.

Interesting Statistics. Here are 14 reasons illegal aliens should vacate America:

1. $11 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare to illegal aliens.

2. $2.2 billion dollars are spent each year on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

4. $12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!

5. $17 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

6. $3 Million Dollars PER DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.

7. 30% of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens.

8. $90 billion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.

9. $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times (250%) that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year 2005, there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our southern border with as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from terrorist countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine, and marijuana crossed into the U.S. from the southern border.

12. The National Policy Institute, estimates that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion, or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.

13. In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.

14. The dark side of illegal immigration: Nearly one million sex crimes are committed by illegal immigrants in the United States!’
http://www.drdsk.com/articles.html

The total cost of illegals is a whopping $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!!!

If the illegals were legal and they, and their employers, were paying taxes then $401 billion in IRS income taxes would be collected annually that would stay in America’s economy.

NOTE: Illegal aliens please remember you are welcome to come back to America … but do it the right way and assimilate into America as an American. If you left your own country because you didn’t like what was going on and life was difficult, why try to recreate that atmosphere here? … give you heart to America as your new country. Please learn English as it is the working language of American. If Spanish or another language is your heritage that is fine just speak it at home.

WILL CLINTON OR OBAMA GARNISH YOUR WAGES ?

Posted by straight shooter on February 5, 2008 under Political, Social Concerns

Many people think that a universal health insurance sounds great … and it does in principle. But what if it means having your wages garnished, paying an extra tax in April, paying a fine, or facing some other financial mandate?

It’s a question that continues to follow Democrat senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as they make their last minute pitches for Super Tuesday voters.

On the TV program “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Clinton yesterday left open the possibility that her health care program would garnish the wages of people who didn’t comply. (Doesn’t surprise me … isn’t that what all “good” socialists do – take more from the backs of the soon-to-be working poor.)

“We will have an enforcement mechanism, whether it’s that [garnishing wages] or it’s some other mechanism through the tax system or automatic enrollments,” Clinton said.

She did take the idea of fines off the table, however. Fines are a feature of the Massachusetts Health Plan.

Clinton says a mandate is necessary in order to create universal coverage. (A coverage that would cover all the illegal immigrants, and continue to cover those on welfare that are able to but not willing to work, while again the middle class continues to work not taking time for their health due to their work schedules.) Obama’s plan does not cover all Americans, but he argues a mandate could force economic burdens on those who can’t afford to buy insurance. (Can you say increased taxes!)

This dispute raises a difficult question. Some surveys show that a modest majority of Americans believe the U.S. should have universal healthcare. But most of them think reforms should be built around private insurance, not a government program that will increases taxes.

Socialists liberals are taxers. They always have been … this won’t change because their basic belief is that they can handle the citizen’s money (yours and mine) better. They believe they are more intelligent than you or I, and a little thing called equity … the leveling out of economic disparity … the spreading out of the money from those work to those who don’t – and in most cases don’t plan to. When we go along with them we are allowing them to think they are smarter than we are … and maybe they are if we don’t stand against these dangerous ideologies.

The question is still there though: How can health care be improved? A good start is to take the CEO’s and others in the top echelons of the insurance companies and reduce their million dollar and six figure salaries. Many pose as non-profit organizations … really! Not for profit organizations are suppose to be build on serving people not serving the board of directors, the share-holders (how can that be?), or the CEO and management. Maybe some IRS pressure if they don’t comply?

The next great problem in the cost of health insurance is how the government passes the buck – literally. They impose the cost of welfare health care, including 20 plus million illegal aliens, onto the states and the hospitals through black-mail and coercion. The states and the hospitals have no choice but to treat everyone as it is mandated by the federal government or they won’t get their federal monies and subsidies. The catch 22 is the federal monies are not enough to cover the costs so the hospitals and providers charge extortionist prices for tests, surgeries, and procedures to the insurance companies, of those who have insurance, to try to recoup some of the money they have lost giving so much welfare treatment. This causes the price of insurance coverage to climb sky-high and still doesn’t cover the cost of the freebies … thus causing many hospitals to shut down in high welfare areas.

Once the federal government and the insurance providers change their practices then people will be able to obtain health coverage at a reasonable rate. Going to universal healthcare will not be cheaper it will be a great deal more, and then to put it into the hands of government with no accountability and the mismanagement that is already vivid … no thank you Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama!

WILL A REAL ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE PLEASE STAND UP?

Posted by straight shooter on February 2, 2008 under Political

… NOT AN ELECTION PACKAGE!

Republicans stop compromising !

When President Bush first proposed an economic stimulus package we thought that was what we were getting. But then our Republican leaders decided – yet again – to “COMPROMISE.”

I find it amazing that when conservatives had the majority in Congress, liberals didn’t compromise. They stood firm and obstructed legislation at every turn. So why do our elected Republican leaders see the need to compromise now?

The late Senator Barry Goldwater told us about compromise when he said: “[E]xtremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.”

So now that our elected leaders have reached a compromise, on this economic stimulus package, what do we have:

We were told that TAXPAYERS would get REBATES of up to $800 for individual taxpayers and $1600 for married couples.

But now on further examination according to the Associated Press, $28 billion – 28,000,000,000.00 – will go to people who never paid taxes in the first place!

Giving a rebate to people who have actually paid taxes so they can keep more of their money is not necessarily a bad thing… but simply handing out $28 billion dollars to people who never paid taxes … that’s not economic stimulus… that’s not tax relief… that’s a welfare entitlement!

Here’s what Congressman Jeb Hensarling said: “It is clear that hard working families in America are struggling to make ends meet and that the economy needs a boost. Conservatives know that it is never a bad time to let families keep more of their own money. We are, in fact, the ones who have been leading that charge in Congress. We agree that now is an especially good time for family tax relief given rising energy, food, and tuition costs…”

Let’s be totally and brutally frank for a moment. Times are tough and while government give-aways may appear compassionate, people need real solutions to real problems … not political pandering and government giveaways!

Government give-aways do not provide jobs, relief to the middle-class or help revive a sluggish economy!

What they do, is allow politicians to buy votes… using YOUR MONEY!

But there is hope to provide some real solutions because Hensarling is proposing legislation that will provide real economic stimulus, create jobs, boost the economy, increase government revenues and provide families with much needed tax relief! That is what we need!

That’s not all …

Extending what essentially amounts to a welfare entitlement is not the only problem with this so-called economic stimulus package.

Conservatives wanted our Congressional leaders to put an extension of the Bush 2003 tax cuts – which are set to expire soon if we don’t act now. But liberals in Congress are holding the tax cuts hostage!

Ken Strickland of NBC reported: “Democrats also appear unified that ‘the number one obstacle’ to quick action would be Republican efforts to extend the president’s [2003] income tax cuts… Schumer, the No. 3 Senate Democrat, said renewing those cuts ‘should be off the table, because they will thwart any chance of passing a stimulus package.'”

And that’s the wrong way to go.

Hesarling said again: “History shows us that the best way to provide an economic turnaround, preserve jobs and spur economic growth is to ensure that job creators face a lower tax and regulatory burden … nothing would help our economy more than making permanent the tax relief that is soon to expire … Now is the not the time to induce our entitlement crisis to explode even further.”

So what’s the bottom line? Simply put, if we want a real economic stimulus package… we’re going to have to fight for it, right here and right now.

Cutting Taxes Helps The Economy. The Liberal Lie That Government Needs To Raise Taxes Was Put To Bed Long Ago!

Liberals have always known that tax cuts jump-start the economy. President Kennedy fought for a tax cut as soon as he got into office. So did President Reagan! So did President Bush!

The Democrats also know – or should know by now – that when you cut taxes, TAX REVENUES INCREASE AND THE DEBT GOES DOWN! Kennedy proved it! Reagan proved it! Bush proved it!

Pete DuPont gave wrote about this principle in the Wall Street Journal: “This truth has been proved at both state and federal levels, including by President Bush’s 2003 tax cuts on income, capital gains and dividends. Those reductions have raised federal tax receipts by $785 billion, the largest four-year revenue increase in U.S. history. In fiscal 2007, which ended last month, the government took in 6.7% more tax revenues than in 2006. These increases in tax revenue have substantially reduced the federal budget deficits. In 2004 the deficit was $413 billion, or 3.5% of gross domestic product. It narrowed to $318 billion in 2005, $248 billion in 2006 and $163 billion in 2007. That last figure is just 1.2% of GDP, which is half of the average of the past 50 years.”

Liberals in Congress could read those figures over and over again, and their rancid socialistic brains would never process them. That’s why they are against making President Bush’s 2003 tax cuts permanent – the very tax cuts that saved us from the Clinton recession at the end of his term in office.

Remember one thing: politicians don’t oppose tax cuts because they love people. That is why they would rather try to buy your vote than help you permanently! They raise taxes because they believe they can spend it better than the folks who earned the money … folks like you who work hard and pay taxes. That is the platform for socialism.

And they spend your money because, in the end, it gives them more power … the fact that they accumulate power on the backs of folks like you and me means nothing to them! Voting against these liberal socialists is imperative!

Your vote needs to tell them that the American people want real economic reform and long term solutions – including an extension of the Bush tax cuts and lower taxes – such as being proposed by Congressman Hensarling and others. Wasting our hard-earned tax dollars on failed social programs is not a stimulus package. Government give-aways do not provide relief to the middle-class or help revive the economy.

Support Real Economic Stimulus

With America in the midst of an economic downturn, Congress is right to be considering plans to stimulate the economy. But it is important that Congress pass real measures that will result in true economic stimulus.

While some of our leaders are rightly talking about alleviating the tax burden on hard-working American families, liberals are already talking about putting more tax dollars into failed welfare programs – that would be a grave mistake. Wasting our hard-earned tax dollars on these failed social programs should not be a condition of passing a stimulus package. Government give-aways do not provide relief to the middle-class or help revive the economy.

Thankfully there are some legislators in Washington that still want to enact real solutions to our nation’s economic problems. Congressman Jeb Hensarling and others are demanding that any stimulus package must also include an extension of the 2003 tax cuts and further tax cuts for job producers in this country.

Don’t become a hostage to the pandering of liberal thinking. Vote for the future unless you want to be held hostage to taxes and beyond …
